5+ years in QA and test automation, built on a frontend engineering background. Full history on LinkedIn.
A Playwright + TypeScript suite for hailmary.ro, a Romanian-language NFL site I also built. Where I'm moving several years of TestCafe experience over to Playwright.
I test first, and most thoroughly, whatever would hurt users most if it broke.
I find elements by role and name, the way people and screen readers do.
Each test seeds the data it needs and cleans up afterwards, so it never depends on whatever happens to be live.
No fixed waits and no retrying until it's green: a flaky test points to a timing problem worth fixing.
Every push to main runs the full suite against a fresh build, new or changed specs must first pass five times in a row, and a nightly run catches what changed outside the repo.
Keyboard navigation, focus handling and automated scans belong in the suite, not in a yearly audit.
Regression is the machine's job; new features get a human first, with exploratory sessions and edge cases.
Steps, expected vs actual, environment and evidence, so a developer can fix it without asking a single question.
AI drafts tests, page objects and test data for me; I review every line before it's committed.
